About “The Dreaming Void”
The year is 3589, and the galaxy faces a new existential threat: the Void, a self-contained microuniverse that expands and consumes everything in its path. Inigo, an astrophysicist, begins dreaming of a paradise within the Void, a place where thoughts become actions. His dreams, shared by millions through the gaiafield, inspire a religion called the Living Dream. When Inigo disappears, a new wave of dreams emerges from an unknown Second Dreamer, sparking a Pilgrimage into the Void. The pilgrimage risks triggering a catastrophic expansion that could destroy thousands of worlds. As factions vie to either stop or accelerate the journey, a supreme entity within the Void turns its attention outward. This is the beginning of a new space epic by Peter F. Hamilton.
