About “Wolves of the Calla”

The Dark Tower V: Wolves of the Calla follows Roland and his ka-tet as they return to the Beam after escaping Blaine the insane Mono and avoiding Randall Flagg. They are approached by residents of the town of Calla Bryn Sturgis, who face an attack by the Wolves, masked riders that come once a generation to steal children. The town's priest, Father Callahan, offers them Black Thirteen, a powerful and dangerous magic ball, in exchange for help. Meanwhile, in 1977 New York, the Sombra Corporation plans to destroy a lot on Second Avenue. Roland and his friends must decide whether to trust Black Thirteen, an object linked to the Crimson King, to save the town and continue their quest. Time is limited, and failure could mean the collapse of the Tower.
