About “Secrets in Death”

A 2017 novel by Nora Roberts features Lt. Eve Dallas, who investigates the murder of Larinda Mars, a professional gossip and blackmailer. Larinda, who traded in secrets and used them to exploit wealthy and powerful individuals, is found dead in a Manhattan bar. The crime scene is unusual for the location, as the bar is not known for violence. Larinda was killed with a knife to the brachial artery. Eve, who did not like Larinda, is determined to uncover the truth and bring justice. To do so, she must examine the secrets of those Larinda had targeted, uncovering information she may not have wanted to know.
