Reinmar of Bielawa, also known as Reynevan, is a healer and a magician, but some call him a charlatan. After a careless mistake forces him to leave his home, he is chased by his vengeful brothers and the Holy Inquisition. During a period of rising conflict between Hussite and Catholic nations, and as supernatural forces begin to stir, Reynevan's path takes him to the Narrenturm, the Tower of Fools. The novel follows his journey through danger and mystery.
