About “Ender's Game”
Ender's Game is a 1985 military science fiction novel by Orson Scott Card. The story is set in Earth's future, after two wars against an insectoid alien species called "the buggers." To prepare for a possible third invasion, Earth's military recruits young children to train as elite officers. The protagonist, Andrew "Ender" Wiggin, is one of these children. He learns military strategy and leadership through war games, including zero-gravity simulations. His talent for tactics becomes evident as the games grow more challenging. The novel explores themes of leadership, morality, and the psychological effects of war. (Summary adapted from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA 4.0.)
