While investigating a toxic outbreak in the Caribbean Sea, which could affect the United States, Pitt becomes involved in a dangerous power struggle over Cuba after Fidel Castro. At the same time, his children, Dirk and Summer, search for an Aztec stone that might lead to a lost Aztec treasure. The stone was thought to have been destroyed in 1898 when the battleship Maine exploded in Havana Harbor. This leads Dirk and Summer to Cuba, where they face significant danger. The three family members have faced tough situations before, but this one may be their most dangerous yet.
