About “Peril at End House”
"Peril at End House" is a 1932 novel by Agatha Christie. The story follows Nick Buckley, a young woman whose life takes dangerous turns when her car brakes fail, a boulder nearly hits her, and a painting almost crushes her while she is asleep. After finding a bullet hole in her sun hat, Hercule Poirot, the famous Belgian detective, decides to protect her. Poirot had come to Cornwall for a quiet holiday with his friend Captain Hastings. As he investigates, he uncovers a mystery surrounding a murder that has not yet occurred. The novel includes e-book extras such as an essay by Christie biographer Charles Osborne and a guide to all of Poirot's cases. The Times Literary Supplement called the book "Ingenious."
