About “Patience, Princess Catherine”
Daughter of Ferdinand and Isabella, Catherine of Aragon, known as Catalina, leaves Spain in 1501 to marry Prince Arthur, heir to the English throne. Arthur is kind, but their marriage is in name only due to his poor health, and he dies six months after the wedding, leaving Catherine powerless and uncertain whether she'll return to Spain or marry his younger brother, Prince Henry, the new heir.
