About “The three suns of Vina”
Yoko Tsuno is a comics album series created by Belgian writer Roger Leloup and published by Dupuis in Spirou magazine since 1970. The series follows Yoko Tsuno, a Japanese-origin electrical engineer, and her friends Vic Video and Pol Pitron as they travel across the world and into space. The stories include science-fiction elements such as robot dragons, time travel, and an alien species called the Vineans. Despite the futuristic and exotic settings, the series focuses on personal relationships, with themes of friendship, love, and spirituality. The artwork is done in the ligne claire style, originally influenced by the Marcinelle style. Leloup aims for realistic depictions of real-world locations, often with detailed and accurate representations. (Summary adapted from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA 4.0.)
