In 1974 Atlanta, a killer searches the streets for the weak and vulnerable. Forty years later, a young woman is found murdered in circumstances that are startlingly familiar to Special Agent Will Trent, forcing him to return to the childhood home and streets he has long avoided as he suspects the answer lies in his own past.
