About “The Kip Brothers”
The Kip Brothers is an adventure novel by Jules Verne, part of his Voyages extraordinaires series. Karl and Pieter Kip are castaways on a barren South Sea island when they are rescued by the brig James Cook. After helping to stop a mutiny, they are falsely accused and convicted of the captain's murder. The novel combines an exciting journey through the South Pacific with a story of judicial injustice, drawing comparisons to the Dreyfus Affair. It is one of Verne's final works in the Voyages Extraordinaires series. (Summary adapted from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA 4.0.)
