The Fur Country or Seventy Degrees North Latitude is an adventure novel by Jules Verne, part of his Extraordinary Voyages series. It was first published in 1873 in two volumes by Pierre-Jules Hetzel in France. The novel was also released as an illustrated large-format edition in the same year. It was serialized in the magazine Magasin d’Éducation et de Récréation from September 20, 1872, to December 15, 1873. An English translation by N. D’Anvers was published in 1873 as well.
