Godfrey Morgan: A Californian Mystery, also known as School for Crusoes, is an 1882 adventure novel by Jules Verne. The story follows Godfrey Morgan, a wealthy young man, and his deportment instructor, Professor T. Artelett, as they set out from San Francisco on a round-the-world ocean voyage. They are stranded on an uninhabited Pacific island, where they face numerous challenges. Later, they meet Carefinotu, an African slave brought to the island by cannibals.
