With Morning Comes Mistfall is a science fiction story written by American author George R. R. Martin. It was published in May 1973 in Analog Science Fiction and Fact magazine. The story marked Martin's first nomination for both the Hugo Award and the Nebula Award. It was later reprinted in his 2003 anthology Dreamsongs: A RRetrospective.
