About “Dying of the Light”

Dirk t'Larien is summoned to Worlorn by a whisperjewel and a lost love, Gwen Delvano. However, Worlorn is not as he remembered, and Gwen is now bound to another man on a dying planet trapped in eternal twilight. The world is marked by violent cultural clashes with no sense of honor, where roles of hunter and hunted often switch. Gwen needs Dirk's protection, and he is willing to challenge the man who has claimed her and his clever associate to keep her safe. A thick veil of secrecy surrounds them, making it hard for Dirk to tell friend from foe. While all struggle to survive, each has different motives—escape, revenge, or death.
