The story follows Tedros, the son of King Arthur, as he battles to become King of Camelot. His opponent is Japeth, who is pretending to be Tedros' brother. Tedros must stop Japeth from being named the "One True King." The novel concludes the series with a focus on Tedros' journey and the conflict over the throne.
