About “Murder of Crows”
Meg Corbyn, a human who has gained the trust of the terra indigene in the Lakeside Courtyard, struggles to understand her place among them. Her unique ability as a cassandra sangue, a blood prophet, sets her apart, making her more than just a human in their eyes. The arrival of two addictive drugs has caused violence between humans and the Others, leading to murders in nearby cities. When Meg has a dream about blood and black feathers in the snow, Simon Wolfgard, the shape-shifting leader of Lakeside, wonders if it is a memory of a past attack or a warning of a future threat. As Meg experiences more frequent urges to speak prophecies, trouble enters the Courtyard. Now, the Others and the few humans living there must unite to stop a man determined to take Meg and prevent the danger that could destroy them all.
