About “The quantum prophecy”
The New Heroes is a series of novels and short stories by Michael Carroll, first published in January 2006 by HarperCollins in the UK. The stories explore the emergence of superhuman abilities in the real world and the resulting appearance of superheroes and villains. The first trilogy follows young adolescents as they discover their powers and the dangers that come with them. In December 2007, Carroll released a collection of short stories titled Superhuman, which expanded the series' mythology. His focus on realistic depictions of superhuman abilities has drawn attention for its original approach to the genre.
