About “The Founding”

Set in 1434, this is the story of the Morland dynasty's founding. Sheep farmer Edward Morland arranges an influential marriage for his son Robert, who builds the family wool trading business. Robert's wife Eleanor, who lives 70 years, oversees the family's growing wealth and, through loyalty to the Duke of York, becomes involved in the events of history.
