About “Cinder”

The story is set in New Beijing, where humans and androids live among crowded and noisy streets. A deadly plague is spreading through the population. From space, the lunar people observe and prepare to act. Cinder, a cyborg and gifted mechanic, is treated as a second-class citizen. She faces hatred from her stepmother and is blamed for her stepsister's illness. Her life changes when she meets Prince Kai, drawing her into an intergalactic conflict. She must deal with a forbidden attraction and uncover secrets about her past to protect her world.
