About “Saul's Book”
Saul's Book is a novel by Paul T. Rogers. It tells the story of a Times Square hustler named Sinbad the Sailor and Saul, a brilliant and self-destructive character who is also an alcoholic. Saul is a dominating figure, and may be the only love Sinbad will ever know. The book won the First Annual Editors' Book Award. Rogers' insight into life and devotion in New York's most infamous district contributed to the novel's literary success. The author died tragically in the same world he wrote about, which made his first and only novel legendary.
