About “Fall of light”
Steven Erikson's Fall of Light is the second book in a new epic fantasy trilogy set in the Malazan world. It continues the story of the ancient realm's downfall, first introduced in Forge of Darkness. The narrative takes place during a bitter winter as civil war rages in Kurald Galain. Urusander’s Legion prepares to march on Kharkanas, while the rebels struggle without a leader since Anomander left to find his estranged brother. Silchas Ruin, the remaining brother, attempts to gather the Houseblades of the Highborn families and revive the Hust Legion in the southlands, but time is running out. The novel explores themes of power, loss, and the collapse of a once-great civilization.
