Mystery of the Samurai Sword is a 1979 novel credited to Franklin W. Dixon, part of The Hardy Boys, a series of mystery novels for young readers about teenage amateur sleuths Frank and Joe Hardy solving cases that often stumped their adult counterparts. The characters were created by American writer Edward Stratemeyer, founder of the Stratemeyer Syndicate, and the books were written by several ghostwriters, most notably Leslie McFarlane, under the collective pseudonym Franklin W.
