The siblings were sent to live aboard their uncle's ship, where they became involved with a secret society known as the Honourable Guild of Specialists. Their adventures include participation in the group's dangerous activities, as documented in Rebecca's writings. The book, written by Joshua Mowll, is based on these personal accounts.
