Since the Draka conquest of Europe and most of Asia in the 1940s, the American-led Alliance and the Draka Domination have been locked in a Cold War, each side facing the other across the oceans, bound only by the fear of nuclear destruction. There is no room for compromise or peace, only the certainty of ultimate conflict. The Alliance relies on advanced computer technology to plan a major electronic warfare attack, while the Draka, known for their genetic engineering, have developed a secret biological weapon. The conflict spans from the estates of the Draka elite to the streets of an alternate-world New York and even the farthest parts of the solar system. The struggle between the two powers determines the future of humanity—freedom or subjugation.
