With the demon dactyl and its minions defeated, the people of the kingdom of Honce-the-Bear seek to rebuild their lives. However, the threat of civil war and a more dangerous specter remain. The demon was not destroyed and has found an unholy sanctuary. Elbryan Wynden, an elf-trained ranger, travels north to reclaim the Timberlands from goblins, while his companion, Pony, uses her gemstone magic to go south to Palmaris. They become involved in a power struggle that will test their courage and love. The struggle will determine the fate of all Corona.
