Stiletto is a 2016 novel by Daniel O'Malley, a sequel to The Rook. It follows Myfanwy Thomas, a powerful and skilled agent known as the Rook, who must broker an alliance between two long-standing enemies: The Checquy, a British organization that protects society from supernatural threats, and The Grafters, a group of supernatural beings. The story takes place after the two organizations are forced to merge, and Myfanwy faces the challenge of preventing a war. As strange attacks occur in London, threatening the fragile peace, she works with two women who despise each other to uncover the source of the attacks. The novel blends elements of fantasy, thriller, and satire.
