The Balkan Trilogy is a sequence of three novels by British author Olivia Manning, first published between 1960 and 1965, following young married couple Harriet and Guy Pringle in Bucharest, Romania, and then Athens, Greece, during the early years of World War II. It forms the first half of Manning's six-novel "Fortunes of War" sequence, continued by The Levant Trilogy.
