From Memory Beta: On Deep Space Nine, a new student named Riv Jakar joins Jake and Nog's class. Riv, a Bajoran boy whose parents were killed by Cardassians, believes school is a waste of time and wants to join the Bajoran freedom fighters. While Jake, Nog, Ashley, and T'Ara investigate strange events on the station, they find a stowaway—Kam, a Cardassian girl and daughter of a high-ranking official. Her father arrives with eight warships, demanding her return. Riv has his own plans for Kam, and Jake and Nog must save her before he starts a new war.
