About “Exiles”

This 1990 novel by Howard Weinstein depicts the people of Alaj and Etolos, bitter enemies for three centuries, forced to see each other as their only hope for survival when crippling disasters strike both worlds. Captain Picard and his crew are called to negotiate peace and lead rescue efforts, but factions determined to see both planets perish draw the Enterprise into intrigue and terrorism aimed at destroying both worlds and the ship itself.
