About “Spook street”
River Cartwright must deal with his grandfather David Cartwright, a retired Cold War operative who is beginning to lose his memory and believes everyone around him is being watched by the Services. As David forgets to wear pants and becomes increasingly paranoid, River faces the challenge of caring for him. Meanwhile, a bomb explodes during a flash mob in a shopping center, killing forty people. The agents of Slough House are tasked with uncovering the truth behind the attack before the situation worsens. The story explores themes of memory, loyalty, and the lingering effects of espionage.
