About “Mizukagami”
Mizukagami is a Japanese historical epic, or rekishi monogatari, believed to have been written around the start of the Kamakura period, approximately 1195. The work is part of the four-volume mirror series, and it is often considered the third book in this collection. While it has been attributed to Nakayama Tadachika or Minamoto Masayori, the true author remains unidentified.
