About “Sharpe's Ransom”
"Sharpe's Ransom" is a short story written by Bernard Cornwell, featuring his fictional hero Richard Sharpe. It was originally written for the British newspaper the Daily Mail and was serialised during the 1995 Christmas season. In 2003, the Sharpe Appreciation Society included it in a collection titled Sharpe's Christmas, alongside another short story called "Sharpe's Christmas."
