About “Interference”
Interference is a 2019 science fiction novel by American writer and translator Sue Burke. It is the second book in her Semiosis Trilogy, following Semiosis (2018). Published in October 2019 by Tor Books in the United States, the story takes place on the planet Pax, 100 years after the events of the first novel. A new expedition from Earth arrives, continuing the series' exploration of human-alien interactions. The novel focuses on the evolving relationship between humans and the sentient plants of Pax.
