About “Robinson Crusoe”
An Englishman undertakes several adventurous voyages in the 1600s. During one of these journeys he becomes the sole survivor of a shipwreck. He then lives for nearly thirty years alone on a deserted island, enduring the isolation until his eventual rescue or return to society.
