About “The Icebound Land”

Will and Evanlyn are kidnapped after a battle with Lord Morgarath and taken to Skandia on a wolfship. Halt, who promised to rescue Will, leaves the Rangers to keep his word. He is joined by Will's friend Horace as they travel to Skandia. Along the way, they face challenges from freelance knights, but Horace's combat skills draw attention from knights and warlords. The story focuses on whether they can save Will before he is forced into a life of slavery. This is part of the Ranger's Apprentice series, a 2005 novel by John Flanagan.
