About “Bridge of Rama”
Hapless Sita is held captive by Ravana, the king of rakshasas. To rescue her, Rama and his friend Hanuman gather an army and attempt to build a bridge across the ocean to reach Lanka. Sita is sentenced to death, leaving Hanuman as her last hope. Hanuman uncovers the truth about his identity, which strengthens his bond with Rama and grants him new powers. He is sent to Lanka to save Sita and avoid war. The original Ramayana was written in Sanskrit by Valmiki, a reformed thief who became a sage, possibly around 2,000 B.C.
