Radix is a science fiction novel written by American author A. A. Attanasio, published in 1981 by Morrow. It was Attanasio's first science fiction work and was nominated for the Nebula Award for Best Novel that same year. The novel is the first in a series known as the Radix Tetrad, which includes four books. The second book in the series, In Other Worlds, was published in 1984.
