Little Fuzzy is a 1962 science fiction novel by H. Beam Piper. The story follows Jack Holloway, a prospector on the planet Zarathustra, who discovers a small, golden-furred creature. This creature, part of a family, is a tiny hunter and demonstrates intelligence and the ability to use tools. The presence of a sapient race on the planet complicates the plans of the Zarathustra Company, as it cannot claim the planet for exclusive use. The novel was recognized with a 1963 Hugo Award nomination for Best Novel. It is often considered a work of juvenile fiction.
