About “Ocean Prey”

An off-duty Coast Guardsman is fishing with his family when he notices a suspicious boat. The boat is fast and well-equipped, but it slows down to pick up a lone diver in the middle of the ocean. The situation raises questions, and when three Coast Guardsmen are shot and killed during an investigation, the case becomes the FBI's responsibility. When the FBI struggles to make progress, they bring in Lucas Davenport. As the investigation turns dangerous, Davenport enlists the help of Virgil Flowers, a detective with a criminal background but sharp instincts. The story follows Davenport as he navigates a complex and deadly mystery.
