About “Ghosts Of India”

In 1947, India is in chaos, torn by internal conflict. The Doctor and Donna arrive in Calcutta and are immediately caught in violent events. After barely escaping, they learn of "half-made men" who appear at night, stealing people. These creatures are described as white as salt with shadowy eyes. With the help of Mahatma Gandhi, they investigate the rumors. They seek to uncover the truth about the creatures and why Gandhi's role in history is at risk. They also wonder if an ancient god of destruction has returned to destroy the world.
