About “The Ministry of Unladylike Activity”

In 1940, with Britain at war, a secret arm of the British government called the Ministry of Unladylike Activity trains spies. May Wong, courageous and stubborn, wants to help end the war so she can return to Hong Kong. When she and her friend Eric are turned away by the Ministry, they pose as evacuees and travel to Elysium Hall, home of the wealthy Verey family, suspecting one of them is passing information to Germany. Someone is then murdered.
