About “Havana Fever”
Fourteen years after retiring from the police force, Mario Conde now makes a living trading antique books. In the house of a rich Cuban who fled after Batista's fall, he discovers a book collection containing an article about a bolero singer, Violeta del Rio, who disappeared mysteriously, setting off an investigation into a Havana now flooded with dollars and populated by pimps, prostitutes, and drug dealers.
