Mapp and Lucia Books in Order
Mapp and Lucia is a series of six comic novels by English author E. F. Benson, published between 1920 and 1939, satirizing the social rivalries and pretensions of upper-middle-class English village life in the fictional towns of Riseholme and Tilling. The series follows the social-climbing Emmeline "Lucia" Lucas and her rivalry with Elizabeth Mapp, and was adapted for television by the BBC (1985-86) and Channel 4/ITV/BBC (2014).
