About “The Burial Hour”

A businessman is snatched from an Upper East Side street in daylight, with a miniature hangman's noose left at the scene and a nine-year-old girl as the only witness. Lincoln Rhyme and Amelia Sachs investigate after a recording surfaces of the victim being slowly hanged to music, marked as the work of "The Composer," and after the suspect escapes, a similar kidnapping outside Naples, Italy, draws them into an international case where not everyone involved may be who they seem.
