About “Prince of the Blood”
Borric and Erland, the carefree twins, are thrust into responsibility when their father, Prince Arutha of Krondor, names Borric the Royal Heir. Erland is also given a role, and both are sent as ambassadors to Kesh, the most feared nation. They are to meet the Queen of Kesh at her Seventy-fifth Jubilee. Soon after leaving Krondor, an assassination attempt on Borric is stopped. Arutha refuses to start a war and sends the brothers on their mission. Their journey is interrupted when Borric is ambushed and presumed dead. Erland must face the court of Kesh alone, while Borric, alive but captured, must escape and find his way back to his brother. Their separate journeys test their strength and character as they navigate danger and the growing threat of war.
