After great sacrifice and personal tragedy, Florentyna Kane becomes the first woman president of the United States. On the day of her inauguration, forces are already moving to kill her. The FBI is tipped off about an assassination plot, but the informant and nearly all investigating agents are killed. Only FBI Special Agent Mark Andrews survives, and he alone knows when the killers will strike.
