Mr. Monster is a 2010 young adult horror novel by Dan Wells, published by Tor Books and Headline. It is the second book in the John Wayne Cleaver series, following I Am Not a Serial Killer. The story centers on John's internal struggle with his darker self, referred to as "Mr. Monster," and the appearance of a second serial killer in Clayton County. The book received praise for its character development and plot progression. It won the 2010 Whitney Award for Novel of the Year.
