About “Mythical Beasties”
Mythical Beasties is an anthology of fantasy and science fiction short stories focused on legendary creatures. Edited by Isaac Asimov, Martin H. Greenberg, and Charles G. Waugh, it is the sixth volume in the Isaac Asimov's Magical Worlds of Fantasy series. The book was first published in paperback by Signet/New American Library in May 1986. A British edition followed in 1988 under the title Mythic Beasts, also in trade paperback format.
