About “Ice”
Ice is a 2002 novel by Russian writer Vladimir Sorokin. Set in a near-future Russia, the story explores a society where a mysterious material from the Tunguska meteor allows people's hearts to speak. It is the first part of Sorokin's Ice Trilogy, though it is the second in the narrative sequence. The novel was followed by Bro in 2004 and 23,000 in 2006.
